Article 2 – SOCIAL PURPOSE

The Association of Social Promotion SPIZ aims at maintaining the historical memory of the community, especially the ludic part of it, while offering an opportunity for interaction between different generations within a sporting, non-agonistic competition. The contest will have the value of a real diving contest, and will not only host one of the most popular Triestine traditions, but will also create a context of integration between persons belonging to different realities of the social fabric, with different ages and coming from the whole regional and extra-regional territory.

Article 3 – REGISTRATION

Enrolment is mandatory and must be made no later than Thursday, July 29th, 2021, exclusively using the form available at the link “Registration - 14th Olympics of Clanfe 2021”. In any case, the signature of the original registration form within Friday, 30th July 2021 is mandatory. The registration will allow for membership in SPIZ Association of Social Promotion as a Supporting Member (link to the Bylaw of Association). It is on a voluntary donation basis. Article 4 – COMPETITION

The diver will compete with one single dive, performed exclusively from the 3m elastic trampoline. It can be either a "clanfa", a "bomba" (bomb) or a "kamikaze" (suicide bomber). The starting order will be fixed according to the day and time of registration. All funny chaps, jokers and jesters are warmly encouraged to participate, and all kinds of costumes, hairstyles, make-ups, etc. are welcome, in order to enhance the Triestine "morbìn", i.e. the desire to have fun and be together, which is the main purpose of the event.

Article 5 – PARTICIPANTS

Competitors will be divided into 7 categories, without any distinction of age and gender, named as per following table. Six categories are defined according to the age of the participant on the day of the event, whereas all participants presenting a dive with difficulty coefficient higher than 2.0 will be included in one single category, called "UFO", without age distinction:

Article 6 – JURY

The Jury has 6 (six) members, five of which will vote the performance style of the dive and the splash size, i.e. the technical part of the dive. The sixth juror, the so called "Morbìn juror" will evaluate the artistic performance, the "morbìn" indeed. Article 7 – SCORES

Every technical juror will evaluate the diver by judging separately the style and the produced splash, according to following criteria:

The five scores of the technical evaluation will be summed up with the five scores of the splash size: finally the single vote of the Morbìn juror will be added, evaluating the artistic appearance with the same criteria applied to the dive and the splash evaluation. The final score is obtained by adding the bonus for the difficulty coefficient, therefore applying the following formula:
 

FINAL SCORE = DIVE SCORE + SPLASH SCORE + ARTISTIC SCORE + BONUS

If at the end of the competition two or more divers will have obtained the same score, the position will be determined according to the age, thus rewarding the younger vs. the older participant.

Article 8 – AWARDS

The prizes awarded are real "clanfe" (horseshoes) painted in the classical colors of the Olympic podium: gold, silver and bronze. They will be given to the first three winners of each category, without gender distinction. The first man and the first woman obtaining the absolute highest scores will be crowned as “RE dele CLANFE” and “REGINA dele CLANFE” (King and Queen of the Clanfe). Other special surprise prizes will be awarded thanks to gadgets generously offered by event's partners. Article 9 – DECLARATION OF LIABILITY

When registering to the competition, the participant declares to have read and accepted the rules of the event. He/she also declares to have the skills to face the technical and physical difficulties of the competition. The participant is aware of the risks related to the practice of sports, in particular of this event, included impediments caused by other participants, and is aware that he/she is performing at his/her own risk. Finally he/she relieves the Organizers from any civil or criminal liability for injuries to third parties and/or objects that he/she may cause or suffer from.

Article 10 – IMAGE COPYRIGHT

Upon registration, the participant expressly authorizes the Organization to use for free, for promotional or commercial purposes, still or moving images, photographs and videos, which were taken during the event, and that show him/her during the participation. The authorization will be valid for the use of the above-mentioned visual materials on all media, including promotional and/or advertising, all over the world and throughout the maximum time allowed by the laws, regulations, treaties in force, including all extension options that may be provided by law.

Article 11 – GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)

Pursuant to art.13 and art.14 of Regulation 2016/679/UE, as known as GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), it shall be noted that the information given is confidential and for the exclusive use of the recipient and that the signer is solely responsible for the truthfulness, legality, and correctness of the data. SPIZ Association of Social Promotion, “owner” of the data, is required to provide certain information regarding the use of personal information provided on this form. The data processing is done by hand, through computer or telecommunication for the purposes of application and/or registration to the event and for communication on future initiatives and ensures the security and confidentiality of the data. By signing this form, the participants allow the processing of their personal data. Please also note that Article 13 of the law gives citizens the exercise of specific rights. By signing this form, the participants authorize SPIZ Association of Social Promotion to the processing of personal data for the purposes indicated.
