Clanfe Olympics 2024: Registrations Are Open!
SPIZ Associazione di Promozione Sociale is pleased to announce that registrations are now officially open for the 2024 edition of the Olympics of Clanfe, the most anticipated and beloved summer event for Trieste residents, now in its seventeenth edition!
The most spectacular, fun, and splash-filled diving competition of the summer will take place on Saturday, July 27th, at the historic "Ausonia" beach resort on Riva Traiana 1 in Trieste. The Clanfe Olympics has become an unmissable event in the Trieste summer, where divers of all ages, from 4 to 85 years old, will compete in a one-of-a-kind competition.
The goal? To execute a dive that creates the biggest splash possible while simultaneously astonishing and entertaining the large audience present. Technique is important, but presenting an original and amusing artistic performance also matters.
The "Ausonia" beach resort, with its evocative and historic atmosphere, will be the backdrop for this day of pure fun and friendly competition. The event is open to everyone: from Pici and Pice to Vece Bobe and Vece Marantighe, and including Muleti, Mulete, Muli, Mule, Muloni, Mulone, Mati, Babe, and UFO, the category for the most acrobatic dives. All participants are ready to perform and captivate the audience with their hilarious clanfe, bombs, or kamikaze dives.
